In this role, you will be instrumental in creating engaging, effective, and innovative learning experiences for our diverse student body. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, faculty, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and evaluate curriculum and instructional materials across various modalities, including online, blended, and traditional classroom settings. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing student success and fostering a culture of continuous learning and pedagogical excellence.
Skills:
Proficiency in instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), Expertise with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle), Strong command of e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise 360), Ability to apply adult learning theories and pedagogical best practices, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Strong project management and organizational abilities, Experience with multimedia development (audio, video, graphics) for learning, Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) in learning design, Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field. Master's degree preferred., 3+ years of professional experience in instructional design, preferably within a higher education or corporate learning environment., Demonstrated portfolio showcasing instructional design projects and deliverables., Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines., Experience with course development lifecycle from analysis to evaluation., Familiarity with various assessment strategies and rubrics., Commitment to staying current with emerging educational technologies and trends.
